Organized at the end of last week, on December 21, the New Year’s Eve Fair of our babushkas’ products, as always, was exciting and interesting. Our needlewomen brought a great variety of goods of their own making: knitted socks, pints, scarves, shawls, berets, vests, embroidered paintings, tablecloths, toys, as well as things made of felt – handbags, hats, slippers, souvenirs, key chains and much more. It should be noted that babushkas use only pure wool and natural fabrics. And how much love and warmth of their hands they put into each product! As the representative of the supported by Babushka Adoption Foundation self-help groups from Belovodskoe village Lubov Grigorievna says, for them participation in such fairs is an “incentive to live”, it is very interesting for them to show themselves, their creativity, and to look at other people. Thanks to the fact that babushkas managed to sell their products at the fair, now, as Lubov Grigorievna says, “they have enough for buying Christmas gifts for their beloved close firends and reltives. And babushkas are looking forward to the next fairs to surprise the esteemed public again with their skills and talent!
