The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Kyrgyz Republic transferred funds for the needs of 4 Kyrgyz charities: “Bright Way”, “Umut Nadezhda”, “Manas” social village, “Babushka Adoption”. The money was raised during the annual Christmas charity fair held in the German cafe Steinbroy. The participation in the fair of the organization gave 20% of its revenue, and the youth from the German House, who sold bakery products and delicacies – 100%. Thus, the embassy managed to collect 80,000 soms, which were fairly divided among the four aforementioned organizations. Their representatives were invited to the Embassy this morning, on December 18th, where the Deputy Head of the German Diplomatic Mission Mrs. Irya Berg solemnly handed over the collected funds. In turn, the employees of the charitable organizations handed over letters of thanks to the Embassy and also felt the elusive human warmth in the eyes of H.E. Ms. Monica Iversen, the Ambassador of Germany.
