The public charitable foundation “Babushka Adoption”, together with a diplomat from Japan Keiko Izushi, is holding an online competition among Internet users for the best commentary on why the program of adoption of old people is so important for the Kyrgyzstan society. Participants who will take three prizes will receive valuable gifts, among which the most important is the book “What my grandma taught me”, written by Keiko Izushi, who is participant of the UN mission in Kyrgyzstan. The book has already become a bestseller on Amazon. The winners will be announced on October 19, 2020 on the foundation’s official pages on Facebook and Instagram.
Keiko Izushi has adopted the foundation’s ward babushka Lyuba.
