Babushka Adoption Foundation (BA) regularly distributes humanitarian aid to its beneficiaries as well as other needy people throughout the year. Babushka Adoption Foundation regularly receives items such as clothing, bedding, food and even medical equipment from Kyrgyz-based associations such as the International Women’s Club of Bishkek and National Red Crescent Society.
BA provides regular financial support to vulnerable and needy elderly people. Locally, BA works with projects such as Nakormim KG, and the company Alliance, who regularly delivers food packages to the charity. Through «Diesel» a local Internet portal, BA collects food packages and other supplies stuffs from Bishkek citizens and also distributes this to beneficiaries.
In reacting to emergency situations such as winter frosts, BA works with partners and the media to organize collection and delivery of items of most critical need by elderly people.
